95% 98% 99% AR(Anti-Reflective) Glass
AR (anti-reflective) coating is an optical surface treatment method for reducing glare and improving visibility.
AR (anti-reflective) glass refers to a series of products processed based on the principle of vacuum magnetron sputtering. Coating a nano-level film layer on low-iron glass reduces the glass reflectivity from 8% to 1%,(even lower than 0.2~0.3%) and increases the transmittance to 95%, above 98% ,99%, and the visual effect is not affected by external light sources or object reflections
So, 95% AR Glass means 95% transmittance , 98% AR Glass means 98% transmittance,etc...
AR glass can complement LOW-E glass. Even in the face of very strong sunlight, it will not reflect or glare, and has high visibility. Therefore, it is widely used in the automotive field, display screens, industry and medical equipment.
| Transmittance | External Reflection | Internal Reflection |
95% AR Glass | 95% | <5% | <5% |
99% AR Glass | 99% | <1% | <1% |
